Directions

  1. In a saucepan, sauté the onion in oil until golden.
  2. Add the stock, broccoli, beans bay leaf and allspice.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer, partially cover and simmer until the broccoli is tender.
  5. Let sit for 5 minutes. Remove the bay leaf.
  6. Puree all or part of the soup before serving.
