  1. Cut core from cabbage quarters, coarsely shred cabbage into medium bowl.
  2. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper in small bowl, mix well. Pour over cabbage, stir until well blended. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
