- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 1⁄3 cup cocoa
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts, finely chopped

CREAMY FILLING
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar

CHOCOLATE GLAZE
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1⁄2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
directions
- Heat oven to 350* --
- Line a jelly roll pan with foil, grease the foil.
- In a small pan, melt butter, remove from heat and stir in cocoa till smooth --
- In small bowl, beat eggs, and gradually add sugar, beating till fluffy --
- In seperate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt and add to egg mixture.
- Add cocoa mixture and vanilla and blend well.
- Stir in 1 cup of nuts --
- Spread batter in pan.
- Bake 12-14 minutes.
- cool completely in pan on rack.
- Remove from pan to cutting board.
- Remove foil, cut brownie in half lengthwise,.
- Spread one half with creamy filling.top with second half -- then drizzle with glaze.
- After glaze has set, cut into 24 bars.

to prepare CREAMY FILLING:
- In small bowl, combine 1 pkg cream cheese, 2 tbls butter and 1 tsp vanilla.Mix till smooth and add powdered sugar and blend well till fluffy.

to prepare GLAZE:
- in small pan, heat 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tbls water to boiling.remove from heat, add 1/2 cup mini chips.stir till melted.

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
