- 1 (32 ounce) package frozen southern -style hash browns, thawed
- 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 (16 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup melted margarine
- 3 tablespoons chopped onions
- 8 ounces French fried onion rings
directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Add the onion rings during the last five minutes or so.
- Note: Adjust the sour cream/margarine as you wish. Sometimes I add plain yogurt for part of it.
