  • In a pan, boil chick peas and juice until chick peas are soft enough to use in a blender.
  • Separate peas from juice, and set juice aside.
  • Place peas, tahini, oil, lemon juice, vinegar, and onion into a blender and blend until fairly smooth. Consistency should be thick.
  • Add chick pea juice little by little until hummus is at the desired consistency.
  • Season to taste. Add more lemon juice or garlic salt where needed.
  • Place in a bowl and drizzle top with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour before eating.
