Creamy Maple Cranberry Oatmeal

"Another delicious breakfast from Quaker Oats. This one is my favorite yet! It's so much better than storebought oatmeal mixes, and if you use soy milk it's dairy-free! I've also tried using part soy milk and part water to make it a little lighter and using brown sugar in place of the maple syrup, and it still turned out great!"

  1. This is so Yummy & Healthy I would like to give it 10 + stars. DH & I really enjoyed. I used water instead of milk as we like to use Mocha mix on hot cereal. This will be a regular at our house. Thank you Kree for another delicious recipe.

  2. Great recipe! I'm leaving this review hours after eating it and I'm still feeling satisfied. I added more wheat germ on accident and it tasted a little healthier than it should have, but very good! Thanks for posting the recipe.

  3. I went to the Quaker Oats website & combined their "Maple Walnut Oatmeal" with this one, so I don't think it's fair for me to rate this! I used the wheat germ from this recipe & the nuts from the other recipe-didn't use cranberries & cooked it in the microwave. Also used sugar free maple syrup & a Splenda pkt (I have a sweet tooth!)-plus topped it with some sliced banana. A warm, lovely treat; thank u for sharing.

  4. Delicious. I only used 1/4 c syrup because I put dates in it. I also added some chopped mixed dried fruit and banana slices. This begs to be made again and again! Thanks for posting.

  5. This was great! Enough sweetness for me! I scaled it down for one person and I really enjoyed it! Thanks so much for this recipe!

I'm a real estate agent in the lovely city of Rochester, New York. That's not what I expected to do with my life. I got my bachelor's in psychology, my masters in literacy education, and I taught high school special education for two years. Then I discovered that helping people find the homes of their dreams was my real passion. I've been doing it for over two years now and still absolutely love my career. Other than that, I have a very spoiled Border Collie mix named Bear that I adopted from a local shelter in spring '08. He's gorgeous and fun and brings me great joy. Now if only I could find a man like that... LOL!
