- Crumble sponge cake.
- Mix together all ingredients.
- Roll into small balls.
- Roll in coconut.
- Refrigerate.
- Can be frozen.
- Ejoy :).
- Instead of sponge cake you can use any sweet biscuit similar to Marie.

A nice soft textured Rum Ball. I altered slightly by rolling in dollarmites instead of coconut. As the mixture is quite sticky I'd recommend you let it rest for about 5 minutes after mixing before you roll your balls. Having moist hands also helps the mixture roll into neat balls without leaving a sticky mess on your hands. Try to make the evening before they are required as the flavour blends much better after refrigeration time. A great standby to keep in your freezer!! I'll be making these again, next time also adding Cointreau in place of the rum. Thanks for sharing.
