  1. you can form the cups by molding the dough over an upside down muffin tin--this way is much easier to get them away from the tin without breaking them. also i used my mini muffin tins so they were just a little bit bigger than mouth sized.

  2. Found this in the Silly Snacks cookbook and made it for a dessert (mostly for the kids but the adults couldn't stay away! LOL!). The recipe I have is slightly different and calls for 1 pkg (18 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough, 1/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder, 3 - 4oz containers prepared chocolate pudding and 1 1/4 C chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs (approx 15 cookies), gummy worms and is for 18 servings. Mix the cocoa into the cookie dough then make 1 oz balls. For the most part then continue as below. First problem is that the cookie dough packages are now 16.5 oz so I used slightly less cocoa powder than called for in the recipe. The amoung of cookie crumbs is much too much. I made 2 packages of cookie dough ane got 30 cups but if I pushed it might have gotten 34 cups. Recipe I have calls for baking 12-14 minutes. I used 3.5 containers of pudding for 10 cups and barely made a dent in the cookie crumbs (thank goodness I didn't double that!). I made the cups a day ahead and filled them right before dinner. The kids thought this was the best and were nearly fighting over which one they would get. This would be a great ativity to have the kids help fill these. ETA: I used chocolate fudge pudding to add to the chocolate decadence.

  3. Everyone loved these treats!

  4. My 3 kids and I had so much fun making these!! They all helped sprinkle the crushed cookies (we used oreos) and placed the gummy worms on top!! My littlest didn't like the worms so for hers I used coconut and they were so yummy!!! Great Halloween fun!!

  5. I'm not able to buy the pudding or cookie dough in stores here, so I used recipe #245031 and recipe #5049 (half of the recipe, minus chocolate chips). I didn't bake my cups long enough though, so they came out soft and gooey--and fell apart when I tried to get them out of the muffin tin. Three survived! Just enough for my family. Oh well. It's still a really cute and yummy Halloween treat and one that I will try again next year.
