ingredients

1 cup butter
³⁄₄ cup white sugar
³⁄₄ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
¹⁄₄ cup molasses
1 cup oatmeal
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¹⁄₂ teaspoon salt
¹⁄₂ teaspoon clove
¹⁄₂ teaspoon ginger

directions

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
