  1. Wash zucchini and slice into half-inch rounds.
  2. Boil in salted water just until tender (do not over cook).
  3. Drain and spread zucchini in a shallow baking pan.
  4. Melt butter.
  5. Peel and grate onion.
  6. Mix onion and green chile with the melted butter.
  7. Spread mixture over the zucchini.
  8. Shake salt and pepper over slices.
  9. Sprinkle swiss cheese over top of zucchini.
  10. Broil about three inches from the heat for five minuted or until the cheese is lightly browned.
  11. Serve Hot.
