  • Saute onions in margarine until lightly browned. Add water, chili sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, salt, paprika and Tabasco. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Place drumsticks in slow cooker and pour barbecue sauce over top. Add 1/3 cup of water in the bottom of cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours. (Regular cooking time 2 hours.) 4 servings.

  1. This sauce smelled sooo good while I was preparing it but I must say the cider vinegar tasted a bit off to me with the rest of the ingredients. My bf kept asking me if I cooked the turkey in apple juice (which he doesn't care for). However, the idea of cooking drumsticks in the crock pot with BBQ sauce is great. Next time I'll just use store bought sauce though.
