Directions

  1. Sautee carrots, celery, onion, and garlic in skillet with butter.
  2. Place all ingredients EXCEPT FOR cornstarch, 2 tbsp cold water, and cheddar cheese into crock pot and stir well.
  3. Cook on high 4 hours or low 8 hours.
  4. Mix corn starch into cold water, and stir into chowder.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese until completely melted.
  6. Cover and cook on low another 30 minutes.
