  1. Wonderful dish! And it was so nice to have it done and the kitchen already clean. I served it over rice. At the last minute I decided to add about 1/2 cup of roasted cashews to give it a bit of crunch, and that worked really well. Definitely 5 stars! This one goes in my cookbook!

  2. ...plus 5, plus 5!!!! I LOVED this dish!! I used boneless pork chops and left them whole. I followed the recipe exactly, but added some garlic powder and black pepper to the sauce. I also doubled the mushrooms. I can't wait to make this again!! I think next time I will double the sauce and add a bunch of veggies (carrots, water chestnuts, celery, and maybe some broccoli) Thank you so much for a great and easy dish!! ~Manda

  3. We enjoyed this dish that we served with rice. I added baby carrots, fresh mushrooms and used garlic salt instead of regular salt. Although the taste was excellent there was a little too much broth for our taste, so I will thicken it a little next time.

  4. This is a really good dish. Used Sirloin Steak instead of pork. Found the sauce to be not thick enough (my preference) so will thicken next time with a little cornstarch/water mixture. Put on low for 1 hour then high for 2 hours then on low for 1 hour. Added a little garlic salt.

  5. I truly enjoyed this dinner! Only made half the recipe and cooked it for 4 hours on low - kept it on warm for 1 hour. I used fresh mushrooms, added 1 jalapeno & 1 tsp fresh grated ginger Excellent will be a regular - served with rice & new carrotts. Thanks Inez

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
