  1. Here I've been knocking myself out all these years preparing Chicken and Dumplings the "hard way", and all I had to do is find Miss Annie's recipe for the crockpot! This recipe is wonderful, very flavorful and the chicken is fall apart tender! Dan'l was asking for even more chicken and I had to tell him it was all gone! I prepared it exactly according to Miss Annie's simple instructions and the results were fabulous! I will definitely be preparing Chicken and Dumplings more often! Great recipe, Miss Annie! Thank you so much!

  2. I made this over the weekend for my fiance, but I ended up with chicken and biscuits instead of dumplings! I don't know what I did wrong...oh well, we did enjoy it, and will make again.

  3. I liked the taste and all of the chicken and 'sauce' but I must've done something wrong, cause my biscuits never fluffed up. The just turned into a gooey mess. So a scooped them out as best I could and then made some dumplings from canned biscuits on the stove.

  4. Made this on the stove top and it tasted great, the biscuit mix making it easy and stress-free. I subbed yogurt cheese for the sour cream.

  5. This was very easy and turned out delicious. I didn't have any marjoram so I used savory instead and it tasted great. I used canned biscuits for the dumplings and made them REALLY small so they puffed up just the perfect size.
