"This is very easy and tastes great. I freeze 1/2 and use for another meal - just add BBQ sauce for a different flavor."

  1. Very interresting combination that you have going on with this.My family really enjoyed it and it smelled wonderful cooking.I had to use pickle spears since I couldn't find whole pickles but it worked out fine.I served these on garlic parmesan croissants with provelone cheese and pickles. This is a keeper. Thanks for sharing!!!

  2. Wow - such fantastic results for such an unique combo of ingredients - a jar of dill pickles and a bottle of chili sauce?!! People's eyes go a little funny when you tell them how it was cooked. Definite repeater. (we used moose meat and tender and tasty)

  3. Fantastic, yummy, good, easy to make, and makes my apartment smell good too. I got everything ready last night and when I came home for lunch I took my crockpot out of the refrigerator and plugged it in. When I got home from work and Weight Watchers this delicious dish was waiting for me. The pickles and the chili sauce really add flavor to the meat. I used extra garlic because I love it. I also added a bit of extra salt as I used a larger roast to ensure I would have LOTS of leftovers for future sandwiches. Thank you for providing so many ready to eat meals for me.
