Crock Pot Ham & Beans

"This recipe has been in my family for years. Both my mom and grandma have made it, and it's always great served with cornbread. My grandma loves to add diced onions when she serves it and I actually prefer it that way too, but you can add whatever you would like to it. Very simple and inexpensive meal."

I live about an hour west from St. Louis out in the country. I love it here it's so peaceful and serene. I tend to spend most of my free time reading, watching movies or tv. I like to watch Food Network shows too, mostly Pioneer Woman, Trisha Yearwood, Ina Garten, and many others. I love cooking for family and friends. I'm always asked to bring a dish to a potluck or dinner. My specialty is baking and making desserts. Recently, I've been looking for recipes for homemade remedies and soaps, and also homemade gifts in a jar to give as presents. I've never tried doing anything like that and I think it would be fun and interesting to do.?
