  1. As a mom who doesn't have time to cook regular meals this was quick and easy :) I added a little more milk because it didn't look liquidity enough before putting it in the crock pot but next time I might add an extra can of creme soup instead...I also added ham chunks. Another idea would be adding frozen veggies ;) forgot to buy them...this recipe has so many opportunities!

  2. So yummy! Served this at an office pot luck lunch and it was a big hit. I will definitely make this again! I used cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken, and I think next time I will use less butter. Thanks for a great recipe!!

  3. Very good! I doubled this for a crowd (12 people) using a 30oz bag of hash browns. There was just one little serving left over. I think next time I might try topping it with french-fried onions to add a little crunch, but, some at the party said they would prefer it with the corn flake topping, as written. Either way, this was a nice side dish with ham and a 7-layer salad. Thanks for posting!

  4. I left this recipe out for my husband to make and if he can throw it together than this certainly deserves *****! I did ask him to add 1 cup of mixed veggies and a handful of cut up Farmer Sausage as well. He did have a problem as our bag of hashbrowns was larger than the recipe stated and had to call my mom to tell him that 16 oz was about a pound or half the bag that I had in the house. There was also a cause for alarm when milk was listed in the steps but not in the ingredients, so he added 1 cup. He couldn't find the corn flakes but when I got home I added 1/2 cup to the top. Although the kids were not too crazy about the topping and next time I may leave it off intentionallly and just top with cheese instead. This was a great crockpot recipe and I will be making this again, especially since I want to prove to my husband that the prep time is actually 5 minutes and not the 1/2 hour that it took him!!
