Crock Pot Roasted Chicken

"The final product is a tender, fall of the bone chicken. This is a good summer recipe, when you don't want to heat the house by using an oven."

  1. Had this last night sans the stuffing - I made mine out of a box. (Boo, hiss! LOL) I loved this chicken - I did salt and peppered it before putting on the browning sauce (I used Kitchen Bouquet.) The result was flavorful and falling off the bone. I'm using leftovers for a creamy chicken/wild rice soup tomorrow night. I'm keeping this one!

  2. I LOVE this recipe!!! We had it last night for dinner with mashed potatoes. The family gobbled it up with relish. The only thing I will do different next time is salt and pepper the chicken. This will be a favorite crockpot recipe. Thanks!
