  1. Sooo good! I left out the apple and nuts, and I did double the sage as we love the flavor. This is much better than any other crockpot stuffing I have made. Highly recommend. Thanks!

  2. Made this the day before and kept in crockpot in fridge overnight. It was fabulous...the apple and walnuts added just the right amount of texture and taste. I did add about a cup of craisins as well. This will be a go to stuffing recipe from now on and so easy in the crockpot. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This is an excellent stuffing ...the apple adds an element of sweetness and gives the over all dish a wonderful aromatic flavor. I used stale bread crumbs that I have been saving (heels of loaves, cubed and dried at 170* in the oven)...so I added some extra sage to taste. If you try only one stuffing this holiday..this is the one!!!

  4. Yum! Excellent recipe..I took this to Thanksgiving and had to fight for a serving. I did omit the apple and would probably add another 1/2 pound sausage next time. Otherwise, Perfect!!!

  5. When I read the ingredients I was leary of this recipe. But I made it anyway. And I am glad I did. It is now a tradition at holiday meals. My husband loves the leftover stuffing, he makes stuffing sandwiches. I made it exactly like the recipe called for. Thanks for posting it!!
