Directions

  1. brown the short ribs.
  2. place the ribs in the bottom of the crock pot.
  3. add the onions, garlic, bay leaf, squash, tomatoes.
  4. Season with salt and lemon pepper.
  5. Pour ale and canned tomatoes over the meat and vegetables.
  6. Cover and cook about 5 1/2 hours on high, or 7-8 on low.
  7. Correct seasonings to taste.
