  1. This is an easy recipe; I was a bit disappointed in the amount it made. For a 'smothered' dish I expected a LOT of sauce, and there isn't that much. It was very thin, so I stirred in cornstarch mixed with water at the end. I served this over mashed potatoes, and next time I'll double the sauce ingredients. I also felt the cook time was inaccurate; my veggies were not completely soft after 5 hours on low. The one change I made worked well- 3 small chicken breasts whole and uncooked. I removed them and shredded after cooking. They were wonderfully tender.

  2. This was deeelish! I will definitely put this in the rotation. I served them w/ lower fat garlic cheese biscuits and they were awesome, too! Thanks for posting!

  3. Very good, quick easy meal. I used shredded chicken instead of cubed chicken. Recipe made a lot! I ended up freezing two more meals for myself and my two young boys.

  4. We enjoyed this and I like how easy it is to make. I added a little bit of white wine and some frozen peas too. Had it with bisquick cheddar biscuts on top and it made for a great meal. Thanks!
