"If you are a spinach lover, you should love this! This is a great side dish especially good with a holiday meal. You can prepare it all in advance and refrigerate until you are ready to turn the crock pot on. Leftovers are great, too."

  1. Absolutely delightful, and very easy! Perfect side-dish for sausages, and I'm going to try the leftovers as a filling for a vegetarian lasagne. Thank you!

  2. Tasted great, just like what you would think, but it looked weird. My cubed cheese stayed as big globs of orange. I think some of my guests were suspect when they looked at it. Not sure why the picture here looks so wonderful and mine looked so bad. I followed the recipe exactly and cooked it for 4.5 hours on low in my crock pot. Not sure I would make it again for guests, and it's a bit overkill to make as a sidedish for myself. I do look forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow.

  3. Love this recipe. I used white cheddar?.make sure the spinach is well drained. Delicious!

  4. Made this for PAC Fall 2007. This was very good and made a wonderful side dish. I think next time I will try it with a pepper cheese. Thanks Lainey for a great spinach dish.

  5. This was so hearty and delish. I made it for Thanksgiving and have been craving ever since. Will be making it again. I used reduced fat cheddar instead of American cheese.
