  • Melt margarine in a large skillet. Add chopped onion and chopped celery and saute for 10 min on med-low.
  • Add all the seasonings (poultry seasoning, salt, sage, thyme, pepper) to the margarine mixture.
  • Place the 13 cups of dried bread cubes in a very large bowl (26-32 cup bowl).
  • Add margarine mixture to bread cubes.
  • Beat the eggs and add to the bread cubes and toss lightly until well mixed.
  • Add the chicken broth, toss until all is moistened.
  • Add to a greased or sprayed large crock pot, cook on low to med-low for 3-5 hours.
