  • Wash cabbage leaves.
  • Bring 4 cups water to an boil and turn off heat.
  • Soak leaves in water for 5 minutes; remove, drain and cool.
  • Combine ground meat, rice, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  • Place 2 tablespoons meat mixture on each leaf and roll firmly.
  • Stack in slow cooker.
  • Combine tomato paste and water; pour over stuffed cabbabe.
  • Cook on low setting for 8-10 hours.

  1. Quick and easy recipe. I did things a little different. Boiled the water and added 1/2 the cabbage leaves and let them boil until crisp tender, then added the other 1/2. Also, the tomato paste and water had zero flavor so tried adding italian seasoning & garlic powder. Still not very tasty once the rolls were done. I would suggest using thick spaghetti sauce instead. All in all, they were tasty enough with a little extra seasoning once served.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
