  1. This was very good, even though (to my surprise) I had no chili. I used one can of refried beans in its place with no problems. I cannot wait to try it with chili. Just great!! Thanks so much.

  2. This was good, but the directions were not. I couldn't make out specifics in the ingredients, so, I used 1 15 oz can of tomato sauce, 1 15 oz can of corn (instead of frozen) and only used 1 can of chili. I placed one decent sized layer of Doritos over my meat & then used the rest on the side. I found that 6 hours was waaaay too long in my crockpot, maybe b/c it's a bigger crockpot? It was a tasty enough meal though, and we liked it w/all the taco fixins' - taco sauce, gauc, sour cream, tomato and lettuce. Was great the next day reheated over plain corn chips as a taco salad. Great for a summer day when I don't want to use my oven!
