directions

  • Brown the meat along with the onions and garlic along with seasonings, drain off the fat.
  • Spray a large, oval-shaped crock pot with non-stick spray – better yet, use a crock pot liner for easier cleanup.
  • Put a small bit of spaghetti sauce in the crock pot – just enough to lightly cover the bottom.
  • Then, place in 4 of the uncooked lasagna noodles. Breaking them up, as necessary.
  • Layer on half of the ground meat.
  • Now, pour on a jar of the spaghetti sauce – I also recommend adding some salt and pepper to this sauce layer to cook inches But this is up to you and depends on what sauce you’re using.
  • Then dollop on half of the cottage cheese or ricotta.
  • Put on 2 cups of the mozzarella.
  • Now, repeat the layers: noodles, meat, cottage/ricotta and mozzarella.
  • Put crock pot on medium for 4-5 hours, if your crock pot does not have medium, then 3 hours on high, 1 on low.
