  • preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • crush croutons.
  • mix egg whites and parmesan cheese together.
  • coat chicken in egg mixture.
  • dip chicken in croutons. make sure both sides are coated.
  • place on foil covered cookie sheet (with non stick spray) and bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until juices run clear.

  1. I'm not that experienced in the kitchen, but this recipe is pretty fool proof! I followed the instructions to a t and it turned out just right. Maybe next time I'll try some experimenting with it.
     
  2. I make something very similar to this all the time(I usually use a whole egg and fat full Parmesan)! Croutons are a great substitute for bread crumbs in any recipe. Sometimes instead of eggs, I marinate my chicken in Caesar dressing then coat in croutons.

Tweaks

  1. Add a little spice by adding red pepper to the egg whites and parmesan cheese.
