“My auntie passed this on to me years ago, but I have no idea where she got the recipe originally. This is a family fave when the weather starts to warm up. NOTES: Regular mayo and/or italian dressing does not produce as tasty a salad. Cook time is for refridgeration.”

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 13 cup salad dressing (I like regular Miracle Whip)
  • 14 cup zesty Italian dressing
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen peas, thawed
  • 13 cup finely chopped celery
  • 13 cup diced red onion
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup dry roasted peanuts

Directions

  1. Mix dressings in a medium bowl until combined.
  2. Stir in peas, celery, red onion, and bacon.
  3. Refridgerate AT LEAST one hour for flavors to blend.
  4. Stir in peanuts just before serving.
