  1. I really love quiche, and like the fact that this was crustless since it is so much healthier. I did find the recipe pretty bland, and had to cook it a lot lover than stated, maybe 30+ minutes because there was sitting liquid on the top. I used fresh mushrooms that I sauted instead of canned and sauted onions instead of the french fried onion rings since I tend to prefer fresh ingredients. The onions & mushrooms helped, but it needed something else..probably more cheese.

  2. Yummy and, because it's so wonderfully quick to prepare, a recipe which I'll certainly make again. I just loved the fact that it was crustless, both for ease of making and because it's healthier. I've never bought canned onions, so I used one large chopped onion and I added 4 cloves of chopped garlic, both lightly sautéed in a little butter in a non-stick pan. I used low-fat sour cream, which I always find perfectly creamy enough, and I added a teaspoon of dried thyme. Thank you, KelBel, for sharing this childhood recipe which we all thoroughly enjoyed, both warm and at room temperature.

  3. KelBel, my twin DDs & my mom loved this! DH & DS aren't cultured enough to eat spinach. I couldn't find a 10 oz. can of the onion rings, but used a 6 oz. can. I thought that was still too much, but used it anyway. It turned out great! Thanks for such a quick & easy recipe.
