  1. Slice baguette into 36 slices.
  2. Butter each slice.
  3. Break cheese in half and then in half again for 4 pieces for each slice.
  4. Place cheese on top of buttered bread.
  5. Put slices of bread on a cookie sheet.
  6. Turn oven to broil.
  7. Broil for 3 to 5 minute watch very closely, or they will burn.
