ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 cups cake flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup cocoa
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup Crisco
- 1 large egg
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
- 24 marshmallows, halves

COCOA GLAZE
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
directions
- Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa -- cream crisco with sugar till fluffy --
- Beat in egg, add flour, alternating with milk beating till smooth --
- Add vanilla and nuts, drop by tsps on greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.
- Remove and top each with glaze.

GLAZE:
- Combine all ingredients.
- Melt butter and add cocoa and enough powdered sugar to make a glaze.

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
