  • Heat oil in a wok; stir in onion, green pepper and currants, stirring until tender (about 10 minutes). Stir in rice and seasonings; brown slightly. Pour broth over rice and mix well. Bring to a boil, cover, simmer 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
