- 1 cup kosher salt
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup vinegar
- 12 cucumbers, sliced thin

sauce
- 2 cups vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons celery seeds
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon dry ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1⁄2 teaspoon curry powder
directions
- brine the pickles over night
- drain.
- pack pickles in hot sterilized quart jars
- pour sauce over them seal.
- if ball says water bath do it.
