  • Place all ingredients except cinnamon in a blender in order given. Process until thoroughly blended; it will be slightly foamy. Pour into a buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
  • Bake at 375* for 45 minutes to 1 hour. This makes it's own crust. The top will be brown and puff up as it cooks but will settle down as it cools.

  1. I was so excited to try this recipe. I don't think I can give a rating because I made it in China, with soy milk, and in a slow cooker (with the pan on a trivet). It is a good custard, but I was a little disappointed with the crust, which turned out kind of cake-like. I'll have to try it when I come back to the States because I have a feeling that it's supposed to be better than what I ended up with.
