  • Combine the pork, onion, saltines, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  • Use your hands to mix well together.
  • Lightly brush a large, nonstick skillet with vegetable oil.
  • Heat on medium high heat.
  • Divide the pork mixture into 8 equal portions.
  • Working in batches, drop them from a spoon into the hot pan, spacing them evenly.
  • Pat down with the back of a spoon to form into patties.
  • Cook each patty, turning once, for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Serve the burgers hot with a dollop of dijon mustard.

  1. These pork burgers were very tasty. They reminded us of a good quality pork sausage. They did firm up a bit during cooking. They were wonderful served with leek confit, caraway noodles, sweet potato wedges and corn. Made for CQ4- Scandinavia.
     
  2. We wanted to try something new and different than the usual... so I picked this it was wonderful an tasty I agree with KellyChris it's moist but not so moist it dissolves in your mouth. My husband doesn't like onions so I made one batch with onions and one without.. My family LOVED these , but I would say defiantly eat while hot wouldn't be good cold and salt to your liking. :) hope this helps! I will be doing this again already printed out recipe to put into my book so def a keeper
