- Strain syrup from can of cherries into a medium saucepan.
- Boil until reduced by half.
- Stir in cherries, whipping cream and sugar and boil 3-5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Serve at room temperature.

Very, very nice topping for almost any dessert, I'd think! I doubled the recipe & we've absolutely loved it over pancakes in the morning & frozen yogurt (along with a bit of chocolate fudge sauce) in the evening! Definitely a keeper of a recipe!
