ingredients

  • 15 12 ounces cherries, a can of pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup
  • 12 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

directions

  • Strain syrup from can of cherries into a medium saucepan.
  • Boil until reduced by half.
  • Stir in cherries, whipping cream and sugar and boil 3-5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Serve at room temperature.
