Dark Chocolate Brownie Pie

"Need a chocolate fix? This will do it :) Came up with this last night walking through the grocery store when I had a craving for chocolate, and cherries but was low on money and already had a pie shell at home. This is an experimental recipe open to ideas and tips. I did notice last night that after 40min bake time a toothpick used to check for doneness came out clean but when cut into the mixture was still watery. This is probably due to I had added 1/3c. water. I baked longer and it did fine. The recipe below omits water to allow for a better bake time."

Youth pastor's wife living in the Southern part of the United States. I love to cook, but because of our work schedules I am constantly looking for and experimenting with freeze ahead, crock pot, and 30min or less ideas. My favorite thing to do is baking...especially cookies and cakes. Not a specific favorite cookbook...but I use old church cookbooks mostly because they're dependable and typically the recipies in them are economical. I do enjoy the Kraft Food magazine for it's simple but flexable recipies. Pet peeves? People who don't read the recipie lol. I may not measure everything...but I atleast think I ought to know what goes in it.
