  1. Dough:
  2. 1. Mix flour, yeast, salt and sugar in a medium-sized bowl.
  3. 2. Mix in vegetable oil and water and knead dough for a minute or two.
  4. 3. On a floured surface, roll out the dough and transfer to a large pizza pan. We like a thinner crust (about 1/8-inch thick). With 1/8-inch thick dough on a 14-inch diameter pizza pan, we usually have a little dough left over. The thicker/thinner the crust or larger/smaller the pizza pan, the less/more dough you'll have left-over.
  5. Pizza:
  6. 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  7. 2. Excluding the outer 1-1/2 inch, make little indentations in the dough with your fingertips; this helps the egg/milk mixture settle and cook evenly.
  8. 3. Beat the egg whites, yolks and milk in a bowl, and pour over the crust. Use the backside of a large spoon or other utensil to even out the egg mixture on the dough.
  9. 4. Cover the egg mixture with strips or slices of ham.
  10. 5. Lay spinach leaves over the ham.
  11. 6. Scatter the diced turkey sausage, diced onion, tomato and mushrooms all over the pizza.
  12. 7. Lightly sprinkle garlic powder over the pizza.
  13. 8. Evenly distribute the shredded pizza cheese and then the cheddar cheese over the pizza.
  14. 9. Place the pizza pan directly on the middle rack and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the crust in the center of the pizza is no longer doughy.
  15. 10. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the chives on top (optional), and serve.
