  1. Combine the dates, boiling water, and soda boil in saucepan for 1 minute.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and pour into a lightly sprayed loaf pan.
  3. The recipe says to bake in a slow oven for about an hour. I normally bake at 325 degrees for about an hour.
