Date Nut Krispies
"This is one of those recipes I remember from childhood. I loved these cookies and had forgotten about them until this last Christmas. I got the recipe from my mom and wanted to share with all of you. There is a similar recipe here on zaar but mine is rolled in coconut which I love."

- Melt oleo in skillet over low heat.
- Add sugar, eggs,and dates.
- Stir about 10 minutes until fairly smooth and thick.
- Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla, nuts, 1 cup coconut, and Rice Krispies.
- Mix well.
- Remove by teaspoons and roll in coconut.
- Put on wax paper and refrigerate.

<p>Hello! I am in Nebraska with three of my four children and a husband of 20 yrs.(the fourth child is in the Army stationed at Fort Bragg) I get to be a stay home mom and LOVE it.(which gives me time to look for new recipes...LOL) We like to camp, play sports,watching movies and lots more.
