  1. A delicious and easy recipe to make, i used low fat coolwhip and it was still great!.

  2. Don't really know how to rate this recipe. DH ate one spoon full , I used cool whip : because I had it on hand, DD (4 years old) said she only liked the cream part and I do not eat cool whip so I didn't try it. I used nice soft Iranian dates, no sugar as I believe cool whip has some.

  4. Fantastic!!! I first made this many years ago when I was cooking a series of international meals (just for fun--and because I wanted to know what the rest of the world ate). This recipe was listed in one of the international cookbooks as "Egyptian"--so it became the dessert for my Egyptian meal. I don't know how authentically Egyptian it is, but it was one of the best desserts of the series--super easy and totally delicious! Thanks so much for posting this wonderful recipe Engrossed!!!

  5. I used grated fresh nutmeg instead of the cinnamom. I loved that it was delicious and a breeze to prepare.
