Directions

  1. Slice apples and cut fruit into 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick slices.
  2. Mix 2 tablespoons of salt in one gallon of water and soak fruit slices for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from water.
  3. Spread slices on baking sheet and bake in 180 degree oven for 3 to 4 hours until dry, turning occasionally.
  4. Dust with cinnamon and string with raffia or ribbon.
