1 ¹⁄₄ cups butter
³⁄₄ cup brown sugar
¹⁄₂ cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¹⁄₂ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¹⁄₂ cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups instant oatmeal
1 (16 ounce) package chocolate chips
³⁄₄ cup walnuts or 3/4 cup pecans

directions

Preheat oven 375. Blend butter and sugars till fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together the mix with wet. Bake 9-11min. Cool on paper bags. Place slice of bread in container to keep moist.
