  1. Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder.
  2. In large mixing bowl combine sugars, butter, eggs, vanilla and oil.
  3. Beat until very light and fluffy; at least 5 - 10 minutes on high speed.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients until well blended.
  5. Chill for about 1 hour.
  6. Roll into 1 inches balls and flatten slightly with glass dipped in sanding sugar.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
  8. Cool on rack and store in tins.
