ingredients
- 50 g butter
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond essence
- 3⁄4 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pinch clove
- 1 cup coconut
- 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
directions
- Beat butter and sugars together.
- Add egg and essences.
- Sift dry ingredients and add to butter mix.
- Stir in coconut, walnuts, rolled oats and wheatgerm.
- Place spoonfuls onto a baking tray.
- Flatten with a fork.
- Bake 15 minutes 180°C.
