  • 6 flour tortillas, cut in quarters (6-inch size)
  • cooking oil, for frying
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 18 caramels
  • 14 cup pure unsweetened orange juice

Directions

  1. Fry tortillas in 3/4" hot oil until crisp and golden, turning once; drain. Toss with combined sugar and cinnamon. Melt caramels and orange juice over low heat, stirring until smooth. Serve with tortillas. Microwave: Microwave caramels and juice in a 2- cup measuring cup or 1 quart bowl on high for 1 1/2 minutes; stir. Return to microwave for 1 minute or until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
