  • Melt chocolate in top of double boiler over boiling water. Add evaporated milk and mix. Cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add vanilla, Splenda, and pudding mix.
  • Spread on small pie pan or plate. Chill.
  • Cut in 8 pieces. Form into egg-shaped balls and roll lightly in chopped nuts.
  • Keep refrigerated.

  1. This did not work for me either. I believe I followed the directions but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. If someone who was successful in making this recipe could enlighten me as to what I did wrong I would certainly appreciate it. I would like to have a good recipe for sugar-free fudge, that's why I tried this one.

  3. I am sorry this did not work for me, it turned out to be a brown, gummy mass with a definite after taste. Will not be making it again.
     
  4. I have made this a couple of times once with fudge pudding and once with white chocolate pudding. I prefer the white chocolate. While I like this as a treat and for what it is I would have to say not to expect "Fudge" when you make this. It retains a soft and sticky texture that I never tried to roll. I was able to spoon it into separate pieces once it was chilled. It's almost like a jelly candy that true fudge but neither description is really accurate. On the up side, it tastes great made with the white chocolate pudding and is a very nice treat that keeps asking you to take just one more.
