- 2 lbs frozen hash browns
- 1⁄2 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced onions
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pint sour cream

TOPPING
- 1⁄2 cup melted butter
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes
directions
- Mix all ingredients except topping and put in 9 x 13 greased pan.
- Mix topping ingredients and put over top.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

I loved the flavor if this. For the topping I used crushed Ritz crackers, but next time I will use corn flakes, or maybe both. The flavor is nice and smooth. I did use the frozen O'Brien style potatoes, and wouldn't suggest that. The green peppers in it were kind of mushy as were the potato cubes. Stick with the regular hash browns.
