Dijon/Soy Fish Marinade

"My dad recently went on a business trip to some island. He says the islanders use this marinade on everything! Mahi mahi, grouper, salmon... It's very good and a very quick three recipe marinade. The original just has soy sauce, dijon, and oil, but I like it with a little honey added in. The cooking time is the amount of time needed to marinate fish."

  1. I found it too salty. I did use the optional honey, but it was still too strong. It may be great with steak or salmon but simply too overpowering for delicate white fish. Made for PAC 2013

  2. Delicious! I used Organic Dill Dijon Mustard and added a clove of garlic to the marinade. Wow. I love this.

  3. This is great! It was plenty to marinate my 3 tilapia fillets. I added a little bit more honey to the marinade and broiled them.

  4. This is very good ....I grilled my fish. However, the recipe doesn't specify how much fish this will marinade....I halved the recipe and used 2 fillets, but I think that I should have cut the marinade back a bit because my fish was very salty. I feel the marinade is wonderful....just need a guideline for how much fish this is for. I'll use this again, just reduce the amount I use for each fillet. I saved most of the marinade for another day....it is that good! I did not add the honey, as I prefer the mustard taste. Made for PAC Spring 2011.
