"This may sound very funny, and yes I was skeptical too, but once you try it, you will love it, I swear! You can always change the seasonings to your taste, this is just how my family likes it."

directions

  • Ensure that your diswasher is empty, including any drying agent that you may have filled it with.
  • Rinse and pat dry your salmon steaks. 1 per person is plenty.
  • Place each steak separately on a piece of aluminum foil, large enough to wrap around the steak (but don't wrap it up quite yet).
  • Cut the lemons in half and juice them. Pour juice over each steak.
  • Season each steak to taste with the Salt & Pepper and place a sprig of thyme on top.
  • Wrap up the steak with the aluminum foil, being sure to cover it completely.
  • Place steaks on the top rack of the dishwasher and start it, with the heated dry cycle on.
  • When Dishwasher stops, the steaks are done to perfection. ENJOY!

I am a personal assistant in Hartland, Maine. But, first and foremost I am the mother of 2 boys, ages 11 & 7. They are the center of my universe. I like to cook, not clean....lol. I also dabble in photography. I am always on the go and looking for any easy to make, tasty new recipes, but is'nt everybody....lol. I really don't have a favorite food or cookbook, but at this time in my life I love lo mein,(pork, chicken, vegetable....etc.) My pet peeves are people who chew with their mouths open...lol.
